In line with the 2008 Rio de Janeiro Declaration and Call for Action to Prevent and Stop Sexual Exploitation of Children from the World Congress III against Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents, the innovative Progress Card System allows for comparison between countries based on uniform indicators. It is based on the three main elements of a comprehensive strategy to combat child sex trafficking: prevention, protection and assistance and gives an overview of the main challenges in addressing child trafficking. Progress cards are useful sources of information for campaigns and advocacy activities at national and global levels.
A total of 43 Country Progress Cards and one Progress Card for the Middle East Region have been created and support the 'call to action' for the national campaign. Click on each country to download the progress cards.
