Do your part.

ECPAT welcomes and supports youth involvement in its work. Youth support of the Stop Sex Trafficking of Children and Youth People campaign is important and we urge you to join us in this global effort to make the rights of children a reality and the world a safer, happier place for children,
The ECPAT-The Body Shop campaign has created this section especially to highlight your contributions. You can reach out to your peers in a way that no adult can so we need your help to raise awareness on child sex trafficking. A number of resources are available and will continue to be developed for this purpose. Click here for more information.
A major initiative of the campaign will be to collect signatures for the global petition that will be presented to governments around the world and the United Nations. By signing and getting others to sign, children and youth as well as adults will be taking direct action to help stop sex trafficking of children and young people around the world.

There are many interesting ways in which you can bring this to the attention of others around you. You can stage performances such as skits or use mime or puppets and you can take action online by sending the campaign petition link to friends by email or through social networking sites such as Facebook. You could also set up information booths, give presentations and get teachers or your school involved. We are looking for your creativity.
Other ideas for campaign activities, tips and safety guidelines can be found in the Youth Contribution Manual. We would be very pleased to receive your ideas to add to them.
